May Hill 2021 – 5.2% Mixed Fermentation Ale with Local Plums
A simple base beer brewed with wheat, fermented and conditioned with a mixed culture of yeast and bacteria, and aged in oak for one year. Refermented for 12 weeks with plums, harvested by the DEYA team from a family orchard in May Hill. Intensely plummy with almond and marzipan complexity. Clean, fruity with a noticeable oaky structure to the beer – delicious!
