Foradori is a biodynamic estate in Trentino- a little region in Northen Italy, up in the mountains near the Swiss/Austrian border. The grape is Manzoni Bianco, a grape specially bred by Dr Manzoni- a crossing of Riesling + Pinot Blanc. A rich and savoury style that smells like mountain air, almonds + white flowers. Elizabetta Foradori championed the use of local grape varieties in the area when everyone else was planting boring international varieties like Sauvignon Blanc. The estate is now run by her 2 sons.
