Husband and wife Phillipe and Michelle Aubery-Laurent started to make wine in 1990, in the northern most reaches of Southern Rhone. After he tragically passed away she decided to keep at it, making wines in the same style without any added sulphur (which at the time was outrageous). She continues to make wines, using her skills as a nurse to look after the vines with biodynamic treatments. Uncommonly for the area, this wine is 100% Grenache. It's all about the fruit, with buckets full of blackcurrent and raspberry with a little dose of violet flowers.
