We're over the moon to be welcoming back Panos Mattheou & Yagmur Foster - chefs at the utterly brilliant Manteca in Shoreditch - for an all day Sunday kitchen takeover.
These two came and cooked for three nights last year & it might have been my favourite event we've ever done. Two super talented young chefs cooking their own food and loving every single minute.
Panos hails from Cyprus & Yagmur is from Turkey, so the menu for Sunday will skew Mediterranean with small plates of drinking food based on the sort of stuff they might cook for friends on the weekend. Expect things like deep fried lamb bro with wild garlic, marinated prawns with an olive salsa and crispy pork belly skewers with pomegranate molasses.
