We've got Sertaç Dirik in for our first kitchen takeover of 2024, cooking a Saturday night dinner on the 16th of March & a Sunday lunch on the 17th.
Sertaç is chef who probably doesn't need much of an intro - he honed his craft in Copenhagen before returning back to London to rebuild the family restaurant, Mangal 2, with his brother Ferhat. He was voted Observer Food Monthly Young Chef of the Year in 2022, Time Out's Hottest London Chef the year after.
With a new project on the horizon, we're delighted to welcome Sertaç to the Half Cut kitchen to test out some new dishes. Here's the plan:
Saturday 16th - Dinner
- Set menu @ £50p/h with no substitutions.
- 2 dinner sittings: 18:00 & 20:30.
- Small snack menu available on the terrace throughout service. Walk-ins only.
- Late night service 22:30 - 01:00. Drinks and snacks only. No reservations.
Sunday 17th - Lunch:
- Set menu @ £45p/h with no substitutions.
- 2 lunch sittings: 13:00 & 15:30
- Casual snack offering 18:00-20:30. No reservations.
